Some time ago, I realized something important: I prefer listening to stories rather than telling them, and I feel much more comfortable building the settings where they take place than writing the script itself.
This philosophy is the driving force behind this project.
While I have been focused on instrumental music for years, since 2024 I have been exploring new territories ranging from the tranquility of Lofi to the intensity of Future Garage or the epic nature of Soundtracks.
In short, my goal is to set the right rhythm for your own story. I take care of the sonic setting; the script remains yours.
Background
Although Bert Balance is a new name, my relationship with rhythm spans more than 20 years. I began my journey as a self-taught beatmaker in the urban scene, working under pseudonyms linked to rap groups like QBros and Costa Asfalto.
Later, I evolved towards instrumental production under the alias Berlovento. It was a key period where I began to professionalize my music, achieving airplay on RNE (Spain's national public radio) and charting in the Top 100 Spain on Deezer.
That solid technical experience is the foundation upon which I build my new work today.
Proyect
My latest work is a collection of soundtracks that function as a compilation of various scores, inspired by the cinema that has left a mark on me. From medieval or war movies to romantic films.
Over the coming months, I will be releasing several compilations of both Future Garage and Lofi, designed to provide the backdrop to my listeners' lives.
